Storytelling as Aldred (2010) states is one of the oldest forms of intelligent communication particularly when it comes to discussing cultural and historical knowledge between generations. Storytelling honours the past and the cultural perspectives of different people across the earth. These stories due to technology can be utilized by both students and teachers to create their very own versions of these stories. Digital storytelling can be used by students to further push their understanding of the topic. First they must understand before they can present a story. An example related to H.P.E whereby students could use digital storytelling as a resource could be by explaining how blood travels through the heart by creating a heart and its chambers in clay and demonstrating via claymation the different chambers it goes through on it's way to the lungs.
